Description

This programme aims to create conversation and thought process through interaction in simulation and table-top cases testing and teaching ECG knowledge at an advanced level.

This course will assist the advanced provider to solidify knowledge and application of ECG interpretation in the emergency setting. The major focus will be the basics of the 12 lead ECG and covers some new thoughts around the diagnosis and recognition of the OMI! Rather than the STEMI/NSTEMI.

 

This is part 2 in the 3 part ECG programme

    – 5 classroom days

    – 80 notional hours

    – Portfolio of evidence

    • Learning is much the same, however, time requirement is intense 
    • Useful for the student to access credits in the case of RPL in the future
    • Adds nothing in terms of the practical ability to complete the skills​​
