Description
The Emergency Medicine Approach to Trauma (EMATT) course aims to provide a succinct, team-based approach to the trauma patient in the resource-limited environment, as well as in the resource-rich environment. With a focus on leading the team whilst treating the major trauma patient, patient safety systems and human factors play a major role in the learning.
This course has been designed to provide an alternate route to meet the trauma learning needs of the advanced provider in the South African and African context.
The manual provided is an e-book, the hard copy can be ordered as an optional extra if desired through Takealot SA (the lead times on delivery of these manuals are not guaranteed. It is recommended that the hard copy be ordered with at least 6 weeks lead time before the course date is booked).
